Say cheese: One of the biggest benefits of a destination wedding is the pre-wedding (or post-wedding) opportunity for amazing photography. Amanda and Simone were able to get some romantic shots around Santorini before the big day.
Hardest part to plan: For many couples, planning a wedding without being in the same city as the event can create some stress. Amanda agreed. “The toughest part about having a destination wedding is not being able to see every detail before incorporating it into your wedding.”
Destination wedding advice: Amanda says, “I would say having a planner is key; it definitely reduces some of the stressful aspects of planning and decision-making. Keep calm and always know that, in the end, everything will be perfect.”
One isn’t enough: The trend of two dresses continues! Amanda wore a Rosa Clara gown for the ceremony and photos, then changed into a Maggie Sottero dress for the reception. The bridesmaids wore dresses by City Triangles.
